Linda was very friendly and helpful, everything I needed was there and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was superb.

Great location providing you don’t mind hills. Fabulous views over newlyn , Penzance and harbour/bay. Great off road parking which is a bonus. Didn’t sit out as it was raining (a lot) but imagine it would be nice to do so. Good value for money.

Our experience at Panorama Guest House was beyond our expectations. We stayed here for my husband's 30th birthday as part of a holiday to Cornwall where we had not been before. Very pleasant stay. Lynda was very friendly and helpful with great ideas of places i could visit. She also was exceptionally kind in dropping me to Penzance station on my day of departure which was v much appreciated. The breakfasts were delicvious with lots of choices. Lovely view from lounge overlooking sea. The only extra thing that would have been nice was perhaps a radio or some music in the dining room at breakfast but this is a minir point and just a suggestion.

Its up a very steep hill to get there from the town. There is a bus i believe though.

Your suggestion about music or radio for the dining room is a good one and we have tried it but we couldn't reach a consensus amongst our guests as to what kind of music or which radio station, so we opted for the sound of seagulls instead! You are right, buses do go up and down the hill all day and the bus stops are right outside our place. The hill is steep but; 'no hill, no views'! We very much hope that you come back and stay in the future and we will find a radio just for you!

We went to The Bridge and Tolcarne very nice and a trip to Minack theatre is worth it. Try the telegraph museum at Porthcurno and little Mousehole. There is always Lands End and get your picture taken at the sign.

Lovely little guest house with great view from the dining room. Lynda was friendly and helpful and the communication leading up to our stay and during our 4 day trip was very good. Always asking if we needed anything else. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable; with adequate facilities for a lovely stay. Breakfast was lovely, with good choice; with the full English being nicely cooked - thanks Rob. Would stay again.

Great location for Penzance, Minack Theatre, Porthcurno Beach & St Michael’s Mount; but also easy distance to St Ives, Sennen Cove and Praa Sands. Would recommend seeing a performance at the Minack theatre, a trip to St Ives and a walk along either Gwithian Beach or Praa Sands. Had a really lovely meal in Penzance at Mermaids Alley (look them up on Facebook); very tasty alternative menu.

Friendly welcome, good breakfast selection, room clean and request for items e.g clean towels done quickly

Make sure you book restaurants well in advance of your stay as we really struggled for the whole week booking decent places to eat. Located up the top of a hill so if you are unsteady/ unable to walk far you will need to get a taxi/ use your car.

The seafood restaurant on the bridge in Newlyn always had long queues and a local told me it was testament to the quality of the food and well worth the wait. The lido cafe in Penzance had good food at reasonable prices.

Lovely place Beautiful views on a clear day of the entire bay with St. Michael's Mount in the distance.

Landsend only a half hour away. King's Arms nearby have good food and excellent service. Museums/art galleries near. Lots of super markets. Lidls 5 minutes away. Ect. Minack theatre not far. Loads of places to go see.

Also, during September, and especially when most people are holidaying in the UK this year, it is very busy in Cornwall and in Penzance and Newlyn in particular, so it is always a good idea to book in advance for tables in restaurants.

From the moment of booking, Lynda the owner was so lovely and welcoming. All details and information there for you, nothing was to much trouble and really couldn’t of picked a better place to stay in Newlyn. Panorama is ideally placed with the most spectacular views, rooms excellent and breakfasts soooo good! We will definitely be back, and would highly recommend anyone to stay if visiting the area. Ideal for getting around South Cornwall.

Panorama has spectacular views of Penzance and Harbour, and St Michaels Mount. It is ideally placed for getting around south Cornwall, definitely visit Mousehole, a five minute drive away. Plus only 20 minutes from Lands End. Owner recommended the local tapas fish restaurant at bottom of the hill from the guest house (Mackerel Sky Seafood Bar) and it did not disappoint, excellent meal, a must visit.

My Daughter and I enjoyed a three night stay at the excellent Panorama Guest House in Newlyn. Even before we arrived the friendly professionalism was evident in the emails explaining the measures put in place because of COVID and answering my request to park before check in and go off for a wander. On arrival it was obvious how the place got its name as the view was spectacular. When we did check in Lynda was very welcoming and friendly, explained how everything would work (breakfast etc.), and pointing out a few places worth a visit. This willingness to engage and give useful, friendly advice continued throughout our short stay. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and we had all the teas/coffees etc. that we had requested. The breakfast offer is excellent from my ‘full English’ (complete with black and hogs pudding!) to my Daughter’s fruit, seeds and porridge (and one lovely scrambled eggs on toast). A great set up for the day. All in all I thoroughly recommend the Panorama and we will certainly be returning in the not too distant future.

The Panorama guest house had been recommended to me by a fellow student at the Newlyn School of Art. It was exactly as described:- Very friendly, helpful and hospitable staff. Excellent breakfast with many choices. Superb location especially for the college and stunning views.

My time was mostly spent on my art course but we had great food including vegan and several vegetarian options at the Newlyn Film House. Excellent staff and great atmosphere. We also ate at The Bridge on Lynda's recommendation. I would definitely go there again.

Panorama is up a steep narrow road so it can be tricky manouevering for traffic whether you are going up or down. Had great fish and chips from the place by the bridge at the bottom of the hill and a good meal at a nearby cafe (I think it was called Duke cafe).

Really welcoming, really good location, really good food and totally accommodating, really helpful hosts; can't recommend the Panorama enough!

Quite simply, the Panorama is excellently located for the area generally, being relatively central to Newlyn, on the edge of Penzance and a short drive to Land's End, Marazion and St. Micheal's Mount etc. Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens definitely worth a visit and again only twenty minutes or so drive.

Friendly and Welcoming arrival, instantly felt at home..The room and it’s facilities, faultless ,apart from the extremely tempting Elizabeth Shaw chocolate singing to me from the bedside table! I hid it behind the curtain, out of sight out of mind! Imagine my horror when another appeared on the bedside table the next day! Thank goodness for the saving graces of the delicious breakfast, smoked salmon with sublime eggs from a local farm scrambled to perfection, who needs chocolates!

Visit the excellent, friendly Penlee Art Gallery and it’s superb collections& Exhibitions. A must for any art lover, on loan from Plymouth Art Gallery, the definitive Newlyn School painting by Stanhope Forbes ‘Fish Sale on a Cornish Beach’ look & be transported back to days gone by, painted en plien aire, on the Newlyn beach. Eat in the new opened Sound Pantry,Portuguese food par excellence,a deal& eatery. The Smugglers is to be highly recommended ,local products and excellent evening meals for large & small appetites.

My only suggestion would be to try to eliminate the perfume scent in the linens. It was very strong, to the point it made it hard to sleep and I could still smell it on my night clothes at our next inn. Many people are sensitive to scents. Always cheerful and willing to help guests in any way they can.

The guest house is situated towards the top of a fairly steep hill and may be challenging for the more elderly guests,however there is a good bus service available with stops just outside. On the plus side being near the top of the hill you have great views of the bay.

The breakfast- and living rooms were very good with fantastic views over the landscape. The living room was very nice to be able to use. Unfortunally our room was to small, it was difficult to unpack your luggage.(Now i´ve learned about the difference between Twin-room and double-room when booking). The service and staff was excellent. Lynda was very kind and helpful to us. A liitle bit difficult to find the location , even with a navigator in the car. We recommend the Panomrama Guest House!

The italian restarant down the hill to the right was very good!

Friendly welcome. Useful to have parking in Newlyn. Room small but clean and good ensuite shower.

We ate in the cinema restaurant - good service and food.
