Absolutely lovely time. Pat and Bob made us feel as if we were visiting relatives we hadn't seen in some time. We will certainly miss our breakfast chats. The bed and breakfast itself is warm a welcoming with all the amenities. The location is perfect as a home base to explore the Cornwall area, and close enough to walk to all the restaurants and bars in Penzance. Overall, Halcyon is the ideal place to stay when visiting Cornwall.
Tips:Places to See: Cape Cornwall, St. Michael's Mount, St. Ives, Minack Theatre Restaurants: Bakehouse, The Shore, The Pirate Inn Take your time when visiting the sites. No need to rush. Fill your lungs with the sea air and be thankful.

We had a lovely stay at the Halcyon. Pat and Bob are very welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts were fantastic, the beds very comfortable and we had a lovely view of the bay.
Tips:We had a great time, went to Marazion along the coastal path for St Michael's Mount. Also went to St Ives, Lands End and nearby Sculpture Park.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Location is perfect for easy walking into Penzance and access to main A30 to explore beautiful Cornwall and it’s beaches. The room was clean spacious and very comfortable. Breakfasts were always piping hot and quality products used. Added to private parking area, this is a ‘must do’ if you’re looking for a stay in Penzance. The owners are simply lovely friendly and made us feel at home from very first minute.
Tips:Blacks on Chapel Street is a fabulous restaurant which I cannot praise highly enough. If you’re out at wonderful Porthcurno beach , 5 minutes drive away is Treen and the Logan Rock pub also very very good. A trip to Porthcurno and up steps to Minack is something you have to do. Marazion also is close by and access to St Micheal’s Mount.
